The area in which we practice is predominantly within the Green Belt. Our portfolio is extensive and we have worked on a variety of different schemes including difficult and constricted projects within AONB’s (Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty), conservation areas, flood zones, or otherwise designated areas. We have successfully gained planning permission for both works to and within the curtilage of listed buildings, providing advice on proposed alterations, extensions and changes of use.
How we work:
An initial site meeting is the first step to gain a clearer idea of what our clients’ priorities are and what is to be achieved with the project. Following on from this meeting, we research and assess any issues that may arise and devise a strategy before compiling all necessary information and documents for the planning application.
North & Letherby look to incorporate sustainability into our clients’ projects and ensure that local authority policy is met with planning applications in order to facilitate the best outcome. We offer advice on sustainable design and can put together an energy strategy report for the project, whether it be an estate, farm or individual dwelling.
