Farming Innovation Programme Funding 2025

DEFRA have announced 2 new rounds of the Farming Innovation Programme will open this autumn. £200m has been allocated to the Programme.
The Feasibility Studies competition will provide between £200,000 and £500,000 to early stage projects, for the real-world testing of research ideas. It is encouraged that projects are a collaboration between farmers, researchers and businesses.
The Small Research & Development Partnerships competition will provide between £1m and £3m for up to 30 months, to projects focussed on improving the productivity, environmental sustainability, and resilience of England’s agricultural, horticultural, and forestry sectors.
